Suse 9.3 -->KDE

    Всем привет!


    Поставил сегодня, вернее уже вчера SUSE 9.3 Prof.
    но никак не получается стартануть KDE
    хотя Инсталяцию выбирал c KDE


    это мои первые шаги в Linux-e , вообщем чайник я ещё


    кто может помогите


    заранее спасибо

    Ты б поконкретнее описал проблемму.
    Какие ошибки выдаёт ....после неудавшегося старта KDE.

    в английском я ноль
    но похоже на то что надо настроить графику или правильно выставить монитор, или ?


    если да то как это сделать?

    Надеюсь при инсталле ты правильно выбрал свою
    Граку и Монитор (естественно и разрешение которые
    он поддерживает) ??
    иначе....
    su
    (пассворт для root)
    init 3
    sax2 -a
    и выстави всё правильно, граку...монитор...разрешение...частоту.

    а как можно графический логин заново активировать, а то у меня после инсталяции дров для графики опять нормальный логин

    Как root..
    yast -> system -> editor fьr sysconfig.... -> desktop -> display manager -> defaultwm in kdm umaendern

    В YAST -> Hardware -> Grafikkarte und Monitor стоит


    Auflцsung: 1024x768


    3D-Beschleunigung: Deaktiviert


    хотя подключен простой (не TFT) 15' монитор


    как можно сделать изменения?


    пробовал так:


    экран на секунду становится чёрным потом появляется:

    у меня график on Board.


    В общем запустил я KDE :)


    поставил PCI графиккарту, подключил монитор, включил комп
    KDE стартанул автоматом, настроил монитор, выставил мою графику, там вообще какая-то другая стояла
    Выключил комп, выташил PCI графиккарту, включил комп и всё,
    KDE стартует =)

    Завтра попытаюсь Netzwerk настроить и выйти в интернет
